At the Salon
Our employers come to recruit. Some will carry out a pre-selection, others will hold an initial interview, while others still will hire directly on-site.
- Keep an open mind and be on the lookout for opportunities.
- Stay calm and be confident.
- Say hello to people working the booths. Introduce yourself, give a solid handshake and smile sincerely.
- Allow the employer to direct the interview. Look people in the eyes and answer questions in a firm voice.
- Take the time to think before you reply.
- Be enthusiastic and positive and emphasize your strengths and skills.
- Listen to questions attentively. When necessary, ask to have them repeated and request clarification.
- Ask questions. Toward the end of the interview, chances are you will be asked if you have any questions.
- Seize the opportunity to express your interest in the company and the job being offered.
Here are a few examples of questions to ask:
Why is your company hiring?
What will the next stage be?
How many people does your company employ?
